Who we are.What we hold.
ASCEND is led by Apostle Jeremy and Pastor Gabrielle Gibson. Here is who is behind the covenant, the four convictions it is built on, and what every house believes.
Know who youare walking with.

ASCEND is led by Apostle Jeremy and Pastor Gabrielle Gibson, founders of One Way Church in Suwanee, Georgia.
Their work in the local church shapes their conviction that leaders need wise counsel, honest accountability, and care for their souls and families.
A covenant relationship should begin with a real conversation. We begin by listening to your story and answering your questions before either side considers a covenant.

Bring your real questions.
- What does covering mean in practice?
- Who makes decisions for your church?
- What does the commitment require?
Start with a pastoral conversation and discern the fit with clarity.
Start the conversationFour convictionswe will not trade.
A network is held together by what it refuses to compromise. These are the four things the covenant is built on, and the Scripture that stands behind each one.
We linger in His presence before we lead.
Moses would not take one step without Him.
Before we plan, we pray. Covenant calls and gatherings begin by making room for Him, and no strategy is allowed to replace waiting.
We refuse to trade character for influence.
The hill of the Lord is climbed with clean hands and a pure heart.
A gift can open a door that character cannot keep open. We ask about your marriage, your finances, and your private life before we celebrate your platform.
We care for the leader and the household.
Watch over yourselves first, then the flock.
Your spouse and your children belong in the covenant conversation. A leader who loses the family to build the church has built nothing that lasts.
We build what outlives us.
What you have heard, entrust to faithful people who will teach others.
We measure fruit by the leaders you raise and the houses you send, not by the size of your Sunday. We do not maintain. We multiply.
We are not collecting members. We are building a movement of houses that burn until He comes.
Read what we believeRooted inthe Word.Alive inthe Spirit.
These are the convictions every ASCEND house holds in common. Scripture judges every practice, every prophetic word, and every leader, including us.
01The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for doctrine, practice, and every prophetic word. Nothing we receive stands above it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 · 2 Peter 1:20-2102One God
There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and in glory.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:1403Jesus Christ
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, raised bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father, and coming again in glory.
John 1:1,14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 · Acts 1:9-1104Salvation
All have sinned. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone, by repentance and new birth, and not by works.
Romans 3:23 · Ephesians 2:8-9 · John 3:305The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit for power and witness, and in the gifts of the Spirit active today, exercised in love, in order, and under accountability.
Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:4 · 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 · 1 Corinthians 14:4006Holiness
God calls His people to purity of heart and life. Holiness is formed by the Spirit in private before it is displayed in public.
1 Peter 1:15-16 · Psalm 24:3-4 · Hebrews 12:1407The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, expressed in the local house. Every believer belongs to a local church, and we practice water baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Ephesians 1:22-23 · Acts 2:42 · Matthew 28:19 · 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 · Hebrews 10:24-2508Apostolic and fivefold ministry
Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints and build the body until we reach maturity. These ministries are governed by Scripture, character, and accountability, and every prophetic word is tested.
Ephesians 4:11-13 · 1 Corinthians 14:29 · 1 Thessalonians 5:20-2109Presence, prayer, and revival
We exist for the presence of God. We believe in a Church devoted to prayer, in repentance, and in seasons of revival when God visits His people and the lost are saved.
Exodus 33:15 · 2 Chronicles 7:14 · Acts 3:1910Healing and deliverance
Christ's finished work includes healing and deliverance. God heals and sets free today through the prayer of faith and the power of the Spirit.
Isaiah 53:4-5 · Mark 16:17-18 · James 5:14-1511Marriage and family
Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. The family is the first house a leader must keep.
Genesis 2:24 · Ephesians 5:25-33 · 1 Timothy 3:4-512The Commission and the return of Christ
The Church is sent to make disciples of every nation. Christ will return bodily, the dead will be raised, all will be judged, and the redeemed will live with Him forever.
